Port CampbellPort Campbell is an attractive little fishing village set in the natural gorge of the mouth of Campbells Creek. Port Campbell is a popular destination, due to its proximity to some of the big attractions of the great ocean road, the 12 Apostles and London Bridge etc. Port Campbell is an ideal place to come and relax and has a small number of motels and restaurants as well and is a protected and patrolled beach. Port Campbell was named after Captain Alexander Campbell. He used to trade between Victoria and Tasmania and was also in charge of the whaling station at Port fairy. |
